Dear Pappa, I am so lucky to have met you and have had you in my life. I feel blessed that you were my Father-in-law and your were so kind and generous to me and Jean. It is because of you that I knew Jon would be a good husband and I am so glad to have been part of your family. I appreciate that you told me to call you Pappa after Jon and I were married. I think I can speak on everyone's behalf that you left us to soon. I am honored to have known you and you have taught me many things, to be kind, patient, and non judgemental and to be a hard worker. I will never forget you, and your kind face, and lovely voice, you will hold a special place in my heart forever. I love you Pappa, Catherine ( your grandchildren ,Nicolaas and Heidi)
